About me
Mo Rahman has 29 years of experience in asphalt materials industry since his undergraduate degree in 1995. He has specialized in asphalt construction materials, production / operations, evaluation / testing, quality control / quality assurance and managing QC lab. He is knowledgeable in liquid asphalt materials, budget, department supervision, hot mix asphalt paving and building construction, soils / aggregate, asphalt and concrete mix design, sales & customer service, and solving customer complaints.
Mo has worked for Granite Construction Company from 1997 to 2007 in various technical roles, from 2007 to 2012 he was with Cemex and ATC Group Services before starting to work for Alon Asphalt Company in 2012 and he worked there until 2018 as a Technical Services Manager and Director. He currently works as a Technical Marketing Manager for Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, Inc. in Pacific-West region.
He obtained a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in asphalt materials in 1995 and 1997 respectively from University of Nevada, Reno. He is a licensed professional engineer in Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico.
