About me
Dr. Hennessy is a postdoctoral scholar in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Arizona State University. At ASU her work includes building models to understand the impact of wildfires and post-fire debris flows on transportation and power infrastructure; developing surveys to understand the dynamics influencing vehicle ownership and electric vehicle adoption; and using modeling and data analysis to assess the air pollution, health, and environmental justice impacts of vehicle electrification. Dr. Hennessy holds a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Ph.D. in Energy Resources Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rice University. She has spent time as a summer fellow in energy access at the United Nations Foundation, a summer fellow at the City of Palo Alto Utilities, and a research analyst at the Center for Sustainable Energy.
