About me
Parnian earned her Ph.D. in Pavement Engineering from Iowa State University in 2019, concentrating on applying Machine Learning algorithms to predict Pavement Performance and enhance Pavement Design. She holds a Professional Engineer certification in the State of Arizona. Before joining the city, she served as a Pavement Engineer at Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering, contributing to multiple design-build ventures. Prior to that, she spent two years at Sunland Asphalt/Solterra Materials as a Quality Assurance Supervisor, overseeing the asphalt laboratory. Parnian is also actively engaged in various asphalt industry associations, striving to bridge the academia-industry divide. In her free time, Parnian enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with her family and friends
